About Mr. Johnson
Welcome to Physical Education!
I am very excited to be starting my 16th year of teaching and 7th year at White Eagle. I started my teaching career teaching elementary physical education for Plano School District. During my time their I served as the head cross country coach, and assistant track coach for Plano High School. I also spent time as the head middle school wrestling coach for Plano Middle School. I currently serve as the Head Girls Cross Country Coach at Neuqua Valley High School.
I graduated from Elmhurst College in 2008, where I received my bachelor’s degree in physical education, with junior high endorsements in health and agriculture and high school endorsements in health. While at Elmhurst I was a member of the Men`s Cross Country and Track team, serving as team captain my senior year. In 2013 I attended Northern Illinois University, and received certification in driver’s education. I recently graduated from the University of St. Francis with Master's in Teaching and Learning with an endorsement in Special Education.
My wife Kelly and I currently live in Yorkville with our 10 year old daughter, Brayleigh, 7 year old son, Reed, and our 5 year old daughter Teaghan. In my spare time I enjoy biking, golfing, and running. I also look forward to racing in local 5k's and 10k's. I’m looking forward to a fabulous year!
